A rapper known as G$ Lil Ronnie and a five-year-old girl were shot dead in a shooting in north Texas. The armed suspects arrived at the scene in a white vehicle and opened fire on the victims, who died despite the police's efforts to save them until paramedics arrived.
G$ Lil Ronnie, whose real name was Ronnie Smith, was a 30-year-old artist. He was known for his song "Hoodfame Kiluminati," which had millions of streams on Spotify. In addition to his music career, he had a prominent presence on Instagram with over 150 thousand followers, where he shared aspects of his life and the production of his songs.
The rapper left behind a daughter, whose age is unknown but was apparently a minor. With around 40 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, he released his first album "Live from lil Vegas" in 2016, collaborating with other local artists. Some of his most popular songs include "Hoodfame Killuminati," "Wops," "Inner tube," and others.
The tragic event took place in Forest Hill, near Dallas, Texas. While at a car wash on the public road, G$ Lil Ronnie was attacked along with the girl, who some reports refer to as his sister and others as his daughter. Authorities issued a bulletin for the alleged perpetrators of the crime, but so far the names of the suspects and the type of weapon used in the shooting have not been made public.
